Tina Turner musical received its world premiere in London’s West End in April 2018 at the Aldwych Theatre box office and opened to great reviews.

Tina – The Tina Turner Musical chronicles the life of the rock ‘n’ roll legend who brought us to hit songs like “What’s Love Got to Do With It”, “Proud Mary”, “The Best”, “River Deep Mountain High” and “Better Be Good To Me”.

Tina -The Tina Turner is a jukebox musical featuring the music of Tina Turner, and depicting her life from her youth in Nutbush, Tennessee, through her tumultuous relationship with Ike Turner, and come back as a rock ‘n roll star in her 40s.

Tina Turner is played in the musical by American actress Adrienne Warren. Warren made her Broadway debut in 2012 when she appeared in the Lin-Manuel Miranda musical Bring It On at the St James Theatre.

She then went on to star in Shuffle Along, or, the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921, and All That Followed, which saw her nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

She makes her West End debut in Tina Turner Musical and was described as an “exceptional talent” when announced by Tina Turner.

One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, Tina Turner has won 11 Grammy Awards and her live shows have been seen by millions, with more concert tickets sold than any other solo performer in music history.

Featuring her much loved songs, TINA, The Tina Turner Musical is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd. Don’t miss this world premiere, opened at London’s Aldwych Theatre London.
